2022-2023 Chamber Music Brochure

The Chamber Music Brochure promoted the winter performances at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. I worked within style guidelines to create a refreshed look on InDesign, and edited images with Photoshop to ensure precision across the entire piece. This brochure was distributed across the Northern VA/DMV region via mail to target demographics that enjoy classical music.

Campaign Donation Poster

This poster was designed with the intention to be displayed inside of the Wolf Trap Foundation’s property. I pulled from the background’s color palette to create a custom infographic thermometer in Illustrator that shows how close the Foundation was to their donation goal. Through careful typographic consideration, everything of importance stands out and allows viewers to quickly identify the purpose of this poster while creating an urgency to participate in Wolf Trap’s campaign.

The Washington Post -
Susannah Opera Ad (Print)

During my time at Wolf Trap, I was in charge of many print advertisements for the summer season. This ad stood out to me because of the unique dimensions and theme. I pulled from the assets and created a layout that directs the viewer to the most important information first, and I used colors from the silhouette to further emphasize this. The woman faces inwards, and the body text’s rags further imitate the edges of her face. Along with this, the title, dates, and call-to-action are easy to identify and make the advertisement very strong and eye-catching.

The Washington Post -
Susannah Opera Ad (Digital)

I created digital banner ads to supplement the print ads for Susannah. Maintaining the same style, I made looping advertisements at different sizes within Photoshop that fade between the necessary information to draw viewers in and click for more information. The 160 x 600 is static since everything fit within one frame, but the rest of the graphics shift between the title, dates, and call-to-action. The “buy tickets” button is in a complimentary color, making it pop from the background.

Latin Poster and Handbill

During July 2022, Wolf Trap’s marketing team attended a Latin festival in the DMV to promote upcoming events to Spanish-speaking locals. I designed an 11 x 17 poster along with a double-sided handbill to be given out at the event. These prints pulled from the established Summer 2022 theme and include all necessary information on what to bring, transportation, and where to buy tickets using the QR code or website URL. Both were created in InDesign, and I used Photoshop to create more contrast for the white logo at the top corner.

La Traviata Celebration Dinner Menu

Wolf Trap often hosts leadership celebration dinners for important donors during special shows, this being the opera La Traviata. I designed this menu, and pulled from the gold and purple tones to match the aesthetic of the show’s promotional materials. Because the menu is kept simplistic, I relied heavily on hierarchy to establish different sections within the different panels. I also worked directly with the print company for this project to produce the requested number of copies to be delivered by the deadline.
